Name

A Russian-language website where buyers can read, find and request a quote for your equipment

ANPILOV DIGITAL is an independent development studio in Russia. I build separate Russian-language websites, B2B catalogues and quote-request systems for Chinese manufacturers and exporters — from the first brief to publication and support.

Review

Why a translated page is not enough

Most exporters already have an English site and a translated page or two. A Russian buyer reads them the way an inspector reads a drawing — and stops at the first error. Here are the typical remarks, marked up on a fictional example.

Typical export website — fictional example

Remarks

  1. 1

    Machine translation

Ungrammatical text reads like spam. A procurement engineer stops trusting the specifications before reaching them.

  2. 2

    Specifications only in images

Data inside pictures cannot be found by search, copied into a request or compared with competitors.

  3. 3

    Not visible in Yandex

Many Russian users search with Yandex. Without Yandex Webmaster, a sitemap and Russian metadata, the pages are barely indexed.

  4. 4

    Slow or unreachable hosting

Servers and CDNs chosen for other markets can be slow or blocked for visitors in Russia.

  5. 5

No clear way to request a price

A Russian buyer expects a quote-request form, an email address and delivery terms — not a single messenger link.

Each remark is a concrete piece of work: copy, structure, hosting, search setup or request handling. That is what the services below consist of.

Interface

Why a developer from Russia

Translation agencies translate words. A Russian-language website also needs Russian infrastructure, Russian search engines and Russian buying habits.

Sheet 05Prototype

See what your buyers will get

A working demo of a Russian-language industrial catalogue: search by article and specifications, comparison, quote request — and the screen where the supplier receives that request.
